Creeping, rolling and laughing.....

I wish I could get a video of him doing all of his new actions. It is so cute and sweet. He is hanging out on the bed with me right now. AND he has skooched almost down to the end of it.

He just starting doing that and yesterday he starting rolling over. From his belly to his back, it's more of a flop, and it startles him! The first two times he did it I didn't even get to see it. Once during the night, and when he woke me up because he was hungry, I reached into the crib where I had put him the night before and found his feet not his head. He had turned completely around and rolled over. Then at work, while he was doing his "tummy time", he was fussing a bit but I was ignoring him, then he started crying harder and I turned around to look at him and he had rolled over into his swing bottom and had his face on the floor!!

The laughing is just delightful!! It is so awesome. If I blow on his neck and make razzing sounds, he will start giggling, then if I just tickle him a bit and make little tsking noises, he goes off in paroxysms of laughter. It makes me laugh so hard that my eyes start watering. :o)

Another Beautiful Homemade Blanket......

spoiled or what?? Wow, he has so many wonderful blankets made lovingly by our wonderful friends. This newest addition to his "heirloom" set is a wonderful red and white blanket. Red fleece with white stars on one side, red cotton with white dots on the other side. Brighton was trying to figure out how to pick up the stars!! It was so cute. He likes to spend his tummy time at the office on it.

not much sleep and a grumpy baby......

Hi, everyone. Thought I'd do a quick post before I drift off into sleep. I have been extremely tired lately. Part of it is due to Brighton's teething.....he has been waking up 2-3 times a night this past week or so. After getting into a routine of only once a night. It's been a little hard to take. He's been extra fussy and was pulling at his ears along with some heavy duty screaming. I took him in to see his dr. and it's not an ear infection......he is trying to get his lower two teeth still. She said it will still be a while..........oh, boy!! Well, good night. I'm praying we get a little more sleep tonight.....he was exhausted and fell asleep before 8. I was falling asleep but had to wake myself up to go brush my teeth, put my retainer in and take out my contact.
