First fever.....

Okay...this is definitely not something I was prepared for mentally. I was feeling a little icky this morning. Brighton was doing just fine when he woke up.........he showered with me. I handed him out to Daddy to diaper and he brought him upstairs to hang out while I finished my shower. When I got out, I heard my little fussy-pants. I came upstairs and Daddy was sitting on the bed with our little man laying beside him. I threw on some clothes and then I came over and leaned over to kiss him (the little one)......and wow....he felt hot. So, I grabbed the thermometer and checked his temp under his arm. It read 96.5, so I was thinking it couldn't be right. I ran downstairs and got the "binky" thermometer. It read 99.5. He's been sleeping a bit and been fussy but he doesn't feel like he's getting hotter. He is scheduled for his 4 month well baby check on Tuesday. But if he's still feverish or worse I'll call his dr. tomorrow or sooner! He is definitely teething and he has been grabbing his ears.......but I don't know if he's been grabbing his ears because they hurt or because they are protruding from his head and his hands just run into them!!
